A family story, a sustainable supply chain.
Before it was a company, Détails Import was a family that has known acacia gum for decades: its trees, its harvesters, its seasons. We founded in France the company that was missing to connect that field to European industry.

Decades in the field, a European company.
For decades, our family has been collecting and exporting acacia gum in Chad and Sudan. This history has given us an intimate knowledge of the land, the producers and the natural harvest cycles.
Ali Manssour, who grew up in Chad, studied in France and founded Détails Groupe there, an entrepreneurial group active in architecture, construction and business services. Meanwhile, the family carried on collecting, storing and exporting gum in Chad.
Détails Import is where these two worlds meet. The company brings together four siblings with complementary skills, Ali, Makka, Abdoulaye and Imane, combining the family's expertise in the African supply chain with technical skills developed in Europe: quality, pharmacy, engineering and entrepreneurship.
A long-standing family business in Chad, at the heart of Africa's gum belt.
Founding Détails Import in France to bring this expertise closer to European manufacturers.
A direct relationship between African producers and European manufacturers, with no middlemen.
To become a reference for natural African raw materials in Europe.
“Our ambition is to build a lasting bridge between African producers and European manufacturers, founded on quality, traceability, transparency and long-term partnerships.”
Ali Manssour, President of Détails Import
Complementary skills.
Ali Manssour
State-certified architect (HMONP) and entrepreneur, founder of Détails Groupe.
Makka Mansour
A quality engineer, she runs the company and its business development.
Abdoulaye Mansour
Doctor of pharmacy, responsible for quality and the testing of every lot.
Harvested, sorted and dried by hand.
It all starts on the acacia tree. Harvesters make fine incisions in the bark; the sap flows and hardens in the sun into gum tears, which they then pick by hand.
The gum is collected from our partner producers, then sorted by hand and by machine according to grade, colour and size. It is cleaned, naturally sun-dried and checked at our Ndjari site in N'Djamena.
Every step is documented: this is how we guarantee the traceability of every lot all the way to your plant.

A radically different model.
In a market where middlemen multiply and traceability often remains opaque, we have chosen full integration.
- Vertical integration
From harvest to delivery, with no unnecessary middlemen. - Field presence
A permanent team in Chad that knows the producers and harvest cycles. - Consistent quality
Control at every step and stable, E414-compliant specifications. - Full traceability
Every lot traceable from harvest to delivery. - Permanent availability
Secured stock and a regular shipping rhythm, all year round. - Responsiveness
A single point of contact, fast decisions, flexible volumes. - Long-term vision
We are looking for partners, not one-off customers.
Our family has known these trees for generations.
A supply chain that benefits everyone.
We do more than buy a raw material. We build lasting relationships with African producers, founded on fairness, transparency and shared value.
